S pecialised Fire & Security (SFS), one of Northern Ireland’s leading NSI approved security companies, is continuing its upward growth with a key senior appointment, a rash of high profile projects and investment in new apprentices. David Rea joins SFS as the company’s new Operations Manager, responsible for most aspects of the day-to-day running of the business. The role will be key to maintaining SFS’ high standards and business model as well as supporting future growth plans. David has had a very long career in the trade spanning some 30 years. He has worked across all specialisms, from engineering to management, and is well known and respected within the industry. As well as recruiting an experienced and steady hand to steer operations,

John Moore, Managing Director at SFS is committed to investing in new talent within the fire and security sector. As such, he has brought on two new apprentices, William and Neil, whom he hopes will work their way through the ranks and help to grow the team from within. Amongst the exciting line-up of projects that SFS is working on right now are the new Marina at Ballyronan on the shores of Lough Neagh, the refurbishment of Ballyrobin Hotel, Crumlin and also Omagh Library Complex. In addition to these projects, SFS is busy servicing its many maintenance contracts within the hotel and hospitality industries. Established in 2013 by John himself, with over 30 years’ industry experience in a few nationally recognised companies, SFS has grown to be one of Northern
