INTRODUCTION Harrods is recruiting an Engineering Manager to be responsible for the day-to-day operations of contracts and resources within Knightsbridge and across the Harrods portfolio. The purpose of the role is to provide a peer engineering overview of all contracts undertaken within the Knightsbridge store, linked buildings and remote sites including the new H Beauty Stores, ensuring correctness of design, installation, commissioning and record documentation. Managing and Leading the contractors, helping them to achieve their objectives, and you will support the day-to-day planned and reactive maintenance programme. Opened by Charles Henry Harrod, an East End grocer and tea merchant, in 1834, relocating to Knightsbridge in 1849, the Harrods store is recognised globally as a symbol of excellence. The desire to make the impossible possible is embedded in their culture. This is why today, they ask all of their colleagues to believe in Anything is Possible. To challenge all conventional views of what is and isn’t possible and in turn creating new possibilities into an art form.
