The Melvin Knapp Activity Center (KAC) is a multiuse facility serving the 50 years of age+ population of Pearland and surrounding neighbors. The KAC features a lending library, a computer lab with printing and internet access, Wi-Fi throughout the entire building and a fitness room with three treadmills, two stationary bikes and a resistance machine. The KAC also features several accessory rooms that host various activities such as quilting, painting and game playing. The KAC is a membership-based facility: membership is $25 per year for Pearland residents and $50 per year for nonresidents. For more information about ActionS of Brazoria County, call 281.652.1834.
