Staff Appreciation Recognition of staff members proceeded throughout the year. Technical and service staff enjoyed refreshments and tokens of appreciation at the Department’s annual Technical and Service Staff Appreciation Day in November, while, Administrative Professionals were recognised in April and Lecturers were treated to small tokens of appreciation in celebration of Teachers’ Day (May) 2023. Special thanks were extended to 3 retirees, who were presented with tokens of appreciation for their years of service, at the Department’s end-of-year luncheon held in December. DEPARTMENT SEMINARS Twenty engaging and informative seminars covering a wide range of topics, were delivered by visitors, faculty and postgraduates.
