• The EQU was successful in securing ArcGIS access through the NSDMB, this is a significant improvement and will now increase the Unit’s capacity for geospatial work. • A working group with the EQU and Cuban counterparts was established. • Shutdown of the ICT services at UWI Mona impacted data collection and work at the Unit. • Significant electrical and wiring issues is required at the Unit and CRS, several assessments and consultations have identified low voltage, old wiring and sep- arated electrical components including breaker panels as some of the issues. • Irregular power cuts from main electrical grid led to issues with the Unit’s main server and ICT systems resulting in data loss and damage to the ICT systems. • Additional parking is requested in Chemistry’s parking lot to accommodate staff members. • The Unit has outgrown its current office space and consideration for a new/ renovated building is requested. • Staff shortages and the high attrition rate for technical staff continue to impact the work of the Unit.
