MONA SCHOOL OF BUSINESS AND MANAGEMENT (MSBM)
Dr David McBean, BSc Hon., D.Phil Engineering Science s, Univ. of Oxford – Executive Director
WORK OF THE DEPARTMENT/SCHOOL The Mona School of Business and Management like the rest of the University returned to face-to-face delivery for the 2022/2023 academic. There were challenges in readjusting to this delivery mode for our staff and students alike. Our staff how- ever, remained committed and we got to the other side. This marked the 10 th anniversary of the merger of 10 years since the merger of the Department of Management Studies (DOMS) and the Mona School of Business (MSB) to form Mona School of Business and Management (MSBM). This milestone was celebrated with a number of events including: the launch of the newly designed website, the inaugural James Moss-Solomon lecture, the MSBM 10 th Anniversary church service, securities seminar, staff awards and luncheon and the celebration culminated with the MSBM 10 th Anniversary Gala and Awards. The School also embarked on an initiative to review the curriculum for several programmes. The review of the Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Manage- ment at the undergraduate level and the Master of Science in Marketing & Data Analytics at the post graduate level. Both curriculum reviews were approved by the respective committees. I wish to thank the members of the Board and our faculty and staff whose continued commitment and support have been significant towards the progress that we have made this year under extremely trying circumstances.
