− Concluded classes for Jamaica Customs (July–September). 30 students; total teaching hours: 64. − Met with Dr. Ronald Robinson of Pre-University School. He proposed having 400 students in 30–40 per class for Mandarin in Semester 2. − Security personnel assigned to the CI building. − Chinese Ambassador intervenes in repair work for the CI building on account of damage from heavy rains. − Gender, Sports and Social Sciences started using the CI building for delivery of classes. − September 28–29 saw Confucius Institute Days being celebrated at the CI. About 150 guests in total.
