ACCESS We made significant strides in our marketing and outreach efforts to increase the visibility of the Department in the public sphere and to attract new undergraduate students. We promoted our course offerings on social media platforms by creating new animated images and videos to increase engagement, started an E-newsletter circulated via Mona Messaging, participated in World Quality Week with a video featuring past students of our courses, and had past and current students and staff call current and potential students. Various staff members participated in recruitment visits to high schools and we also increased our efforts in establishing collaborations and partnerships during the reporting period. These initiatives were aimed at raising awareness about academic writing, linguistics and philosophy; fostering student engagement; and positioning the DLLP as a hub for intellectual development geared at making a positive societal impact.
