− The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) and The University of the West Indies (UWI) was renewed on March 29, 2023 for five years (2023–2028). This MoU affords the Philosophy Section/DLLP a Visiting Professor who occupies the ICCR-funded Chair in Indology and Gandhian studies.

AGILITY The Department participated in The UWI Mona Campus World Quality Week Celebration 2022, two Sections followed up on Quality Assurance Review (QAR) recommendations, some members received awards and grants/funding, and we had mixed results from our income-earning projects.
