Ms. Khimaja Connell was featured in the January 2023 OeAD Higher Education Erasmus+ Global Magazine . 4. Ms. Khimaja Connell secured funding as follows: − the sum of J$80,000 from Jamaica National Commission for UNESCO in support of World Philosophy Day 2022 Celebrations at The UWI, Mona. − a bursary in the sum of J$25,000 from Jamaica Drums for Peace for a student with a declared major or minor in Phi- losophy – effective 2023–2024. − a Research and Publication grant in the

amount of J$300,000 to support the research and publication of a chapter enti- tled, “Gendering Caribbean Philosophy: Non-Canonical Caribbean Women Philosophers.” March 9, 2023. − a grant of £4,860 to participate in the Erasmus+ Staff training mobility to the University of Salzburg. The goal of the exchange was to assist with developing a programme in intercultural philosophy, aimed at deepening the relationship between the Department of Philosophy at Salzburg and the Philosophy Section at The UWI at Mona, to facilitate future mobility of students and staff at both institutions. May 2, 2023. 5. In July 2023, Dr. Joseph T. Farquharson was informed that his March 2022 application to the CHASE fund had been favourably reviewed and he had been awarded JM$4,517,560 for the first year of his two-year Dictionary of the Jamai- can Language (DJL) project. 6. In July 2023, during the 75 th Anniversary Principal’s Research Awards, Dr. Vivette Milson-Whyte was retroactively awarded Best Research Publication (Book) for 2019/2020 in the Faculty of Humanities and Education for her co-edited book Creole Composition: Academic Writing and Rhetoric in the Anglophone Caribbean published August 2019 by Parlor Press. This book has garnered sev- eral international awards and has been identified as a valuable college text by different institutions.
