OUTREACH DLIS website: Up to date – Programmes, activities, announcements, etc, School visits: Proceeded as scheduled. DLIS Leaders Roundtable Seminar As an outreach activity, the DLIS hosted a discussion session under the theme: “Building Partnerships, Strengthening Networks.” The session aimed to share with leaders in the Library and Information profession from across the Caribbean, the various programmes the DLIS is now offering and to get their feedback on the quality of DLIS graduates and their suitability for the workplace. This was held on October 20, 2022, via Zoom, and leaders from nine Caribbean countries participated. INFOTalks: DLIS Departmental Weekly Seminar Series 2022–2023 The Department of Library and Information Studies had a successful staging of its weekly departmental seminars, INFOTalks 2022/2023. Guided by selected themes, thirteen (13) presentations reflected and discussed information issues, challenges, circumstances and triumphs from a wide variety of perspectives. This online series continues to attract participation from around the Caribbean and internationally, with a weekly average of 30 participants and has served as an effective outreach activity for the department.
