mulating solutions to and re- solving environmental issues that emerge during the course of real estate transaction. What were some of your early goals and did any- thing happen in you ca- reer/profession to change them? I strive for success in all areas of my life and my strong work ethic is what pushes me forward. I always aim to improve myself and be better than I was before. I am on an eternal quest for greatness, health, and harmony in all areas of my life and my career continued on page 26A

I began my career in 1998 as a field assessor inspecting commercial properties for a small Environmental Consult- ing firm. After a few years of field work, I began managing due diligence for real estate and development teams where I realized I enjoyed interfac- ing with clients one-on-one and assisting them in getting their real estate transactions closed. I began working in business development in 2009 and have grown my business tremendously by providing high quality reports, excellent customer service, and by for-

tion in 2015? My team performed an En- vironmental Site Assessment, Property Condition Assess- ment and Zoning Report on a Trophy Asset in downtown Boston, MA called Faneuil Hall Marketplace. This high profile Property is set around a cobblestone promenade that was originally developed over 250 years ago which provided a multitude of challenges. How do you contribute to your company and/or the industry? I absolutely love helping my clients! My thorough analysis and recommendations dur- ing the due diligence process of both environmental and engineering assessments are greatly valued by my clients and play an important role in lending decisions. My knowl- edge of environmental policy and ability to clearly convey issues to my clients allows them to accurately measure the risk associated with each deal, enhancing their overall portfolio. How do you manage the work/life balance? It is definitely a balancing act! I work hard to balance my career and family, and enjoy the challenge immensely. The key is to focus on a plan, get organized, and find ways to be efficient in both worlds. And I write plenty of To-Do Lists! Who or what has been the strongest influence on your career? I have a rock-solid work eth- ic which has helped catapult me far in my career. My pro- fessionalism, respectfulness, and dependability are traits which were instilled in me by my parents. I was taught to never let any obstacle get in my way, and to never stop until the job is done. I thank my parents for enforcing these qualities in me. What impact has social media/networking had on your business? Networking through many local, and national organiza- tions have provided the right opportunities for me to create new and long lasting relation- ships in the Commercial Real Estate industry. I make sure to regularly attend business social events to help build my reputation as a knowledge- able, reliable, environmental professional who can bring

my perspective to any complex environmental or engineering issue and help reduce the risk in your commercial real estate transaction.
