The Executive Committee of USGBC New Jersey has decided to move the Annual Awards Gala to March of 2017, eliminating competition with Greenbuild and other large fall/ early winter events. This will allow us to bring our award winners and honorees the attention they deserve.

The Gala will now take place on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the Palace at Somerset Park, Somerset, NJ. Each year, USGBC NJ recognizes and presents these distinguished awards to companies and individuals that have demonstrated outstanding achievement and best practices in green building and sustainability.

Our annual Gala is a great networking event, an important fundraiser, and a terrific celebration of achievements in our state. The highlight of the evening will be to honor the winners of these juried awards. We are extremely proud to be casting a spotlight on these innovative projects. They are helping to transform New Jersey into a more sustainable state. USGBCNJ will round out 2016 with ourAnnual Holiday Party and Meet the Board Candidates Night on December 7, 2016 at the Olde Mill Inn, Basking Ridge. This year, the Holiday Party will feature a silent auction to give attendees a fun way to help support USGBC NJ’s mission. Those who wish to donate to the auction should contact Caitlin Nagel at Caitlin.Nagel@wyn. com. USGBC NJ is also currently recruiting sponsors for the Holiday Party and the Chapter. Sponsor contributions provide program and operating support for all of the chapter’s education programs, events, tours, research programs and advocacy initiatives and provide start-up funds for new green building programs and resources.
