Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to develop effective work- ing relationships, both internally and externally. X Proven IT skills, including use of Microsoft Office. X Educated to degree level, or equivalent, in a relevant discipline or relevant equivalent experience working, at a similar level, in a large complex organisation. X Masters degree, or equivalent, in a relevant discipline (or equivalent experience). X Professional practitioner with specialist sustainability knowledge and expertise used to influence events and activities within the organisation. Continuing professional development required to maintain professional recognition. Knowledge and experience of ensuring compliance with regulatory and organisational policy and guidelines. Experience of developing energy and sustainability strategies and policies. X Experience of analysing and manipulating complex data and providing specialist advice and guidance to a range of customers and colleagues, including more senior colleagues. X Ability to contribute to planning at operational and strategic levels. X Experience of being able to network effectively, internally and externally, and develop strong and productive working relationships, to influence perceptions of the University. X Knowledge of energy and sustainability legislation. X Track record of management and development experience and/or an enhanced manage- ment qualification applied across a large service team or teams, in a customer focussed and/or complex organisation. X Experience of developing, implementing and/or managing KPIs and benchmarking data. X Exceptional attention to detail. X Experience of working in, or with, a higher education institution.
