“Serving as a Student Leader in the Café was such a fun, growing, and rewarding experience! My job this year entailed working in the campus Café, Bookstore, Concessions Stand, and Xavánte Snack Shack. I enjoyed getting to know everyone I worked with as we all strove to create a clean and comfortable space for studying, discipleship, and buying delicious drinks and merchandise. I am so thankful we had the opportunity to serve the Lord as well as the student body in this way together.”

“The Xavánte is a sports lounge style Snack Shack for the students at Word of Life Bible Institute. The goal at the Xavánte was to provide yummy snacks for students—whether that was a blizzard during essay crunch-time or some wings after a game, it was a great place to go and have fun with friends.”

“The Mailroom is one of the smallest work areas on campus, but it has a big purpose. This year, we received and sorted all the mail and packages that arrived for the students and made sure they all got what they need as quickly as possible. Our team was always striving to be a smiling example of good customer service and helping the students out as best we could, no matter the problem!”

“While serving in the Fitness Center, we made sure we provided a clean and comfortable place for exercise. The job entailed putting weights back on the racks, cleaning the gym, and helping anyone when needed. Overall, the job was pretty laid back.”
