Word of Life 2024

The second day of the Missions Conference was jam-packed with sessions and mixers, allowing students to focus on their particular interests and get to know the missionaries better. The second day of the Missions Conference began with Nard Pugyao sharing his testimony of salvation, fellowship, and devotion to serving the Lord. He spoke candidly to students about the impact the Lord had on his life, emphasizing that it all stemmed from a young person’s decision to faithfully follow Him and spread His Good News to the nations. Later that night, Kristopher Stout led a session where he likened the journey of a Christ follower to a mathematical equation. He urged students to reflect on their lives and evaluate the fruit they were bearing. Stout challenged each attendee to prioritize the Word of God and recognize its transformative power in their lives, encouraging them to identify areas needing improvement to better serve the Lord. The rest of the day featured breakout sessions led by mission agencies, providing students with opportunities to explore the workings of each ministry in greater depth. Additionally, there were more Missionary Mixers and Devotions held in the evening. Throughout the day, students were consistently reminded of the significance of missions, whether in sending or going, and were urged to discern where they might fit into the mission field.

“But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of Him everywhere.” 2 Corinthians 2:14
