We Do It For The Gospel 2,274 people heard the gospel 126 people received salvation
April 24 marked the beginning of a year-long anticipated event in the Word of Life curriculum for Freshman students. As they loaded into busses headed for New York City, students walked into a four- day ministry of sharing the truth of God’s Word with the people they would meet through street evangelism. After concluding training in the city, student teams were sent out with the opportunity to share about their relationships with God and ask others about their experience with God. This was a chance to advance the gospel and learn about the worldviews of others. Sessions throughout the weekend provided a time for students to share stories from these experiences as they came together, worshiped, grew in God’s Word, and encouraged one another as the weekend continued. Open Air Evangelism was a unique ministry for the Freshman as they were able to learn more about the world and people around them while also working to share the love and truth of the gospel with the people they met along the way. As they
traveled back to the Adirondacks, they were going back with experiences that could potentially be instrumental in their future ministry and personal relationships with the Lord.
