The Word of Life Huskies basketball teams travelled to the Philippines where they were able to use their skills in the sport to further the gospel through running and playing in several basketball clinics and games. They also had opportunities to minister in the country as they visited local prisons and fed the homeless on major city streets. PHILIPPINES
ROMANIA Twenty-four students sent to serve in Romania had numerous chances for ministry as they helped run an English camp, worked with several local churches, and were able to share the gospel through Open Air Evangelism. The team also had an opportunity of visiting and learning about a rehab center for men working through drug addictions right in Romania.
