“I have been teaching at Word of Life in New York and Hungary for the past 23 years. Many things have changed over all these years but the one thing that hasn’t – and the reason I love coming to Word of Life, New York – is the desire of you as students to learn the Word and apply it to your lives. If I was to start my Christian life all over again, I would definitely spend my years right after high school at a Bible College. I’m glad you chose to do the same. Your time here at Word of Life will serve as a base for your Christian life and service. You will need to keep learning and growing, but a firm foundation is so important. Despite all you’ve learned here, you will probably leave with many questions but that is okay. The Christian life is a wonderful life of exploring, learning, and discovering a depth to the Bible that you didn’t know was there. You will be discovering answers and truths for the rest of your life. Our world is going in the wrong direction in so many ways and lacking hope in so many circumstances. The Word of God is the correction to that direction, and our faith in Jesus Christ is the hope for our future. God knew what would happen in the far future when He gave His writers His Words to record. So God’s Word is relevant and valuable for your life today. Don’t allow yourself to drift from His Word. It is the Truth and shows us the Way to Life.”
