Hello everyone! My name is Monica Kahlbaugh and I am excited to start working with MADD as a new intern in the upper Midwest area. Prior to working for MADD I was a Special Education Teacher for the Red Lake School District in Red Lake, MN and spent a couple years working for Alluma as a Mental Health Practitioner. I have had extensive training in Trauma informed Practices with children and adults. My passion and desire are to help others and make a difference in the lives of others for the betterment of society is what give me purpose and drive. I have a registered therapy dog I have trained to work with clients struggling with anxiety, ptsd, and other mental health conditions. He is a Double Doodle and his name is Milo. I look forward to collaborating and working with the amazing staff at MADD. I am excited to make an impact in the community with MADD.

FIRST SUPPORT GROUP MEETING A SUCCESS
This month, we hosted our first support group meeting for victims of impaired driving, and we are so grateful for the brave individuals who joined us. The group provided a safe, supportive space for sharing experiences, offering encouragement, and connecting with others who truly understand. We look forward to continuing this vital resource and invite anyone affected by impaired driving to join us in future meetings. If you're a community partner, please help us spread the word and connect individuals who could benefit from this support.
INTERESTED IN A SUPPORT GROUP? Our Victim Services Team is starting a virtual support group in 2025. Please email Rachel Martens at rachel.martens@madd.org to be added to the participant list.
Our Minnesota MADD Office also presents in person through our Power of Youth, Power of Me, and Power of Parents Campaigns. Interested in us coming to your community? Contact our office! February Newsletter
