Day 1 Arrival We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner. Day 2 Lausanne and the Olympic Museum

With a breathtaking location in the centre of the historic village of Grindelwald, overlooking the Grindelwald Valley and the Eiger, this traditional Swiss hotel is perfect for touring the area. All guest rooms are well appointed to a high standard featuring TV, hairdryer, minibar and tea/coffee making facilities. Beautifully decorated public areas include a large restaurant and a large bar/lounge area to the front of the hotel. Daily buffet breakfast is available and home-made pastries are served in the lobby. There is also an outside terrace with mountain views. We have a day at leisure in the picturesque and hilly town of Lausanne on Lake Geneva surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. In the morning, we also have a guided tour of the Olympic Museum , home to the world’s largest and most comprehensive Olympic collection. Hear more about the Olympics through the decades via our guide and the fascinating exhibitions on display. With free public transport using the Lausanne Visitor Card, the historic old town is waiting to be explored including the ornate 13th- century Gothic cathedral, quiet cobbled streets and 17th century Town Hall. Day 3 Chaplin’s World, Vevey and Lavaux This morning, we journey to Chaplin’s World in Corsier-sur-Vevey for entrance and guided tour. Based in the former country estate of the Chaplin family, ‘Manoir de Ban’, visitors can learn about Chaplin’s private life and incredible artistic works. Afterwards, we have free time in the charming town of Vevey with its lakeside promenade, Charlie Chaplin statue and old town. We leave Vevey mid-afternoon to return to our hotel with a short stop at Lavaux Vinorama for a short wine tasting and opportunity to purchase some of this excellent local produce. Day 4 Golden Pass Panoramic Today we travel to the picturesque town of Montreux on the edge of Lake Geneva to board the Golden Pass Panoramic for a scenic journey through panoramas of mountains, meadows and wooden chalets to the beautiful lakeside town of Interlaken. We enjoy a little free time here to explore the old town and Höheweg, the charming shopping promenade before reboarding our coach for the short journey to the mountain resort of Grindelwald. (This day will require an early departure from Lausanne). Day 5 Jungfrau Region Today we have a day at leisure to really enjoy the region at our own pace. For your convenience, we have included a 1-day Jungfrau Pass to enable you to really enjoy all the attractions the region has to offer. (Please note that the pass does not include travel to Jungfraujoch, but passengers can add-on travel to this unique attraction directly at the train station of Grindelwald Grund).
