Day 2 Drachenfelsbahn Cog Railway & Bonn We enjoy a return journey on the Drachenfelsbahn cog railway to Drachenburg Castle . We continue to Bonn’s Christmas market where the Town Hall turns into a huge advent calendar. Day 3 Cologne We begin our time in Cologne with a round trip on the Bimmelbahn road train visiting each of the individual market locations in turn. Before having the rest of the day at leisure exploring the magnificent Christmas markets in Cologne, set around the picturesque old town and glorious Gothic Cologne Cathedral, savouring the sights, sounds and tempting aromas of a traditional festive German market. NB: The whole group must travel together on the road train. Day 4 Departure After breakfast we begin our journey home.

This tour offers the chance to visit one of the oldest Christmas markets in Germany, Frankfurt, as well as time in pretty Rüdesheim and historic Mainz.
With illuminated artwork designed by international artists, the Amsterdam Light Festival beautifully lights up the streets and canals around the city. Walk around the streets or view the amazing artwork from the water on a canal boat – whichever way you choose, this is a great time to visit Amsterdam and experience its added illuminated attractions!

Day 2 Mainz & Rüdesheim Christmas Market This morning, we journey to the historic city of Mainz and its spectacular cathedral. After free time in the city, we return to Rüdesheim to explore the Christmas market. Day 3 Frankfurt Today after further free time in Rüdesheim, we visit the one of the original and best German Christmas markets in Frankfurt located in 3 different locations within the city centre. Day 4 Departure After breakfast we begin our journey home.
