Menton Lemon Festival We have combined the unique Menton Lemon Festival with the Hotel Toscana in vibrant Alassio on the Italian Riviera. Just 80 kms from Menton, this fabulous hotel offers superb value for money and is centrally located a few minutes’ walk from Alassio’s seafront promenade. We also visit Ventimiglia, Sanremo, Diano Marina and Cervo.

We have a relaxing journey this morning to Cannes via the scenic Corniche coastal road with breathtaking views. We have time at leisure to explore Cannes with visits to the Croisette, Marina and the famous red carpet! Take your pick from the numerous cafes to enjoy lunch before we leave for the short journey to Grasse where we visit the Musee Fragonard , a beautiful 19th century factory and one of the country’s oldest. (NB: coach parking in Cannes port must be pre-booked in advance & coaches must follow a specific route to access the parking as they are no longer allowed to drive along the Croisette). Day 3 Nice Carnival This morning, we have time at leisure to soak up the atmosphere of Nice Carnival with its dance troupes, colourful processions and lively music. Dating back to 1873, the carnival is now one of the most celebrated in the world. This afternoon, we take our seats in the grandstand to give us the best views of the spectacular Flower Parade. Day 4 Menton Lemon Festival Today we enjoy a full day at the famous Menton Lemon Festival . This unique event sees the town adorned with imaginative displays constructed from local oranges and lemons. With grandstand seating , we will have a great view of the colourful Fruit Parade. We enjoy a full day at the famous Lemon Festival in the beautiful coastal town of Menton on the French Riviera. This unique event sees the town adorned with artistic and highly imaginative displays constructed from local oranges and lemons and is truly a sight to behold. Day 4 Diano Marina & Alassio This morning we visit the lovely seaside town of Diano Marina, with its charming pedestrianised centre dotted with attractive cafés and shops. We spend the afternoon at leisure in Alassio. Day 5 Cervo After a leisurely morning in Alassio, perhaps enjoying a stroll along the seafront promenade, we visit the pretty hilltop town of Cervo, where we admire spectacular views over the surrounding coastline and Mediterranean Sea. Day 6 Departure After breakfast, we make our way home. INCLUSIONS • Return short sea crossing
