H omelessness is an ongoing cycle that is difficult to break. In fact, studies show that nationwide, up to 35% of all families who complete a transitional housing program become homeless again. That is why Door of Hope has established its Alumni Support Program – to help ensure long-term stability for families once they are on the other side of homelessness and to achieve outcomes that are better than the average. Our Groundbreaking Approach Unlike many shelter programs that end support once families are resettled into permanent housing, Door of Hope remains a steady source of care and connection. Through ongoing case management, therapy, spiritual support, and emergency assistance, we help families not only settle into their new homes but thrive long after. At Door of Hope, we believe that once you’re part of our family, you’re family for life.
