Edge of the West - Annual Simmental Bull & Female Sale [2/11/25]

Our program is very honored and proud to be in the Simmental seedstock business. We have a true passion in creating genetics that are effi- cient and profitable. We strive to make the best Simmental cow in the industry and yet we are continuously trying to make her better. We got started as young kids with our father always in- cluding us and taking the time to share his pas- sion for livestock with us. He has always been passionate about caring for animals and taught us the value in good husbandry and having quality livestock. He still helps us today and we can still ask him questions whenever we come across a situation that we just are not quite sure of. We owe a lot to him and are very thankful for having him in our lives. Our operation is a family driven platform that consists of the Tyler and Davis Kinn families. Our program is one that has everyone in our families pitching in and working together. We do not tolerate any genetics that are inefficient or cause any problems. We want cows that calve unassisted, mother up quickly, and carry a good temperament so that we can handle her with- out problems. We always look at implementing genetics that will improve the final product in our program. We have strived to always select cattle that are at the top level of maternal value within the Simmental breed. We have a true love for the livestock industry, and we would like to personally thank all of you for taking the time to evaluate this sale offering. Our bulls are developed at Tyler’s Place 12 miles west of Turtle Lake. They are being fed a midds based high fiber complete pellet with added corn, fortified with a Platinum trace mineral package and free choice of high-quality hay. We are shooting for a 3.5lb/day gain. These bulls are being developed in a way that keeps our cus- tomers successful. We want these bulls to carry longevity and structural correctness. The ration being fed is one that shows genetic differences between them while maintaining hoof integrity and longevity. The bulls did not have creep feed and did not have any ground net wrap fed to them. We want them to have the best opportu- nity possible to succeed for all of you.
