Informa has reached an agreement with Char- terhouse Capital Partners and other shareholders to acquire Tarsus, an international B2B group that runs the LabelExpo series of trade shows, for an initial enterprise value of $940 million. Tarsus owns and operates a portfolio of more than 160 live and on-demand B2B event brands. Eaglewood Technologies Partners With Nanovis Eaglewood Technologies has formed a partner- ship with Nanovis, the manufacturer of sustainable parts cleaning systems. Nanovis reportedly has a comprehensive line of sustainable parts washing systems for narrow-web flexo press parts and for HP Indigo digital presses. Systems are available in several sizes and are solvent free, produce no VOCs or exhaust and require no PPE. FINAT, the European association for the label in- dustry, has announced the program for its Europe- an Label Forum 2023, to be held from May 31-June 2 at the Hilton Park Vienna in Vienna, Austria. Each year, the FINAT European Label Forum wel- comes the label community to connect in person and to use this occasion to meet, learn, and engage in discussions and dialogue about a range of indus- try matters. FINAT Releases Label Forum Programming Various speakers will provide insights into how the current geopolitical tensions and financial and economic shocks affect the label business’ future, how to invest in times of disruptions and will pres- ent labels and packaging industry perspectives. The program will also include various panel dis- cussions to give the audience a wider European packaging perspective. The remaining hot topic is sustainability and therefore, it is again a big part of this year’s pro- gram. Topics to be covered are packaging trends, design for recycling, linerless labels and brand owners who will provide their views on sustain- ability issues. More interactivity is expected during the supply chain workshop. During this program item, key supply chain challenges in the label value chain will be identified and tackled by working on possi- ble common solutions.
