Team Aqualla and Team Adamsez step up to the health and wellbeing challenge.

As part of their monthly Health and Wellbeing calendar, Aqualla held a team Step Challenge during the Active April programme. “The aim of the Step into Spring, Step Challenge was to engage the team to walk more, have some fun, and ultimately boost their mental and physical wellbeing,” explains Julianna Andrews, Marketing Manager & Wellbeing Coordinator for Aqualla. “We had some fantastic results, as well as a little healthy competition between the teams. Utilising a dedicated app, we could see everyone’s daily progress, allowing us to push that little harder if necessary to stay at the top of the leaderboard. The team developed some healthy habits during the challenge, and we hope that they continue to keep up the great work.” Collectively, the 29 participants from across Aqualla and Adamsez registered 10,232,960 steps. The winning team, ‘The Walkie Talkies’, completing 2,738,586 steps. Including an individual daily record from Jade King of 51,481. Heating technology manufacturer Grant has launched its new ‘Toolbox Talk’ series of videos, available to watch via the Grant YouTube channel. The new video series has been developed to offer installers and plumbers an insight into Grant’s diverse range of heating technologies and helpful tips and advice on installing Grant products. The series kicked off with a video highlighting the update to the commissioning of the Riello RDB Low NOx Burner which is commonly fitted on Grant Vortex and Grant Euroflame condensing oil boilers. The next focus of the series is set
to be Grant’s flue offering and includes an overview of the Grant EZ-fit Flue Guide and videos to educate on each of the individual flue systems. These videos will be available in the coming weeks. Sales of domestic gas boilers bounced back from the Covid
hot water boilers, where the home has no hot water cylinder. Commenting on the figures, the Director of HHIC Stewart Clements said, “Sales have certainly bounced back from 2020, and consumers are once again investing in home renovation as they see the light at the end of the dark Covid tunnel. “This is great news for the UK manufacturers who make the appliances, for the whole supply-chain
downturn in the UK, according to new figures from the Heating and Hotwater Industry Council (HHIC). Figures released recently, show that 2021 looks set to be a record year for gas boiler sales, with year-to-date sales up a staggering 41% from 2020, with a 12-month average sales figure increasing by 14 %. Over 80% of the boilers sold are combination heat and
that gets them ready for the home and for the 130,000 gas safe registered installers who fit them. Finally, it is also good news for the consumer as they get new high-efficiency products in their homes, helping to keep bills down.”
