mixed-used development on Lancaster Ave. in the heart of Bryn Mawr. “Bryn Mawr Village will include 37,000 s/f of specialty retail space and 17,000 s/f of office space,” says Steve Niggeman , prin- cipal at Metro Commercial. Niggeman will represent the developer, Blank Aschke- nasy Properties in the retail lease negotiations. Delivery of space is planned for spring 2016. “We are already seeing amazing interest in the site and hope to bring high-quality retailers to Bryn Mawr Vil- lage that will complement the extraordinary lifestyle demo- graphic along the Main Line corridor,” said Niggeman. The Shops at Ellis Preserve, a 107,000 s/f specialty retail shopping center, is located near the intersection of West Chester Pike (Rte. 3) and Newtown Rd. (Rte. 252). The center will be a high-end mix of shops and restaurants. Whole Foods Market has already signed a lease for 41,000 s/f as the anchor for The Shops at Ellis Preserve. Steve Niggeman and Glenn Marvin of Metro Commer- cial will represent the devel- oper, Equus Capital Part- ners, Ltd. , for the remaining 66,000 s/f of specialty retail. “Ellis Preserve is sched- uled to begin construction in spring 2015 and deliver in spring 2016,” said Nigge- man. “There will be a fully integrated mixture of office, retail, hotel, and residential use. This unique property was originally developed as Ellis College in the early 1920s.” n Bryn Mawr Village rendering (top) and The Shops at Ellis Preserve rendering (bottom)
