O ve godine zarada na bioskopskim blagajnama širom sveta slabija je nego prošle, ali studiji se kao i uvek oslanjaju na period oko Božića, jer tada izlaze filmovi koji im donose najveće prihode. Dok sa jedne strane imamo uspešne filmove poput „Lilo i Stič“, „Svet iz doba jure: Ponovo rođe- ni“ i „Supermen“, sa druge su projekti koji su naneli ogromnu finansijsku štetu filmskim studijima, poput „Snežane“, „Ba- lerine“, „Karate Kida“ i „Mikija 17“. Dva najveća iznenađe- nja ove godine su „Grešnici“, horor Rajana Kuglera, koji je in- kasirao skoro 370 miliona dolara, i ponovo oživljena franšiza „Poslednja ekskurzija: Nasleđe“ sa 290 miliona dolara. B ox office takings worldwide are poorer this year than last, but studios rely – as always – on the period around Christmas, as that’s when films that yield the highest earnings are released. While on the one hand we have successful films like Lilo & Stitch, Jurassic World Rebirth and Superman, on the other are projects that have resulted in huge financial losses for film studios, such as Snow White, Ballerina, Karate Kid: Legends and Mickey 17. Two of this year’s biggest sur- prises are the Ryan Coogler directed horror Sinners, which grossed nearly $370 million, and the revived final destina- tion franchise with Bloodlines, which grossed $290 million. We will have an opportunity to watch several more major projects by year’s end, while we also have potential surpris- es ahead of us, judging by viewing figures for trailers and net searches.
„Springsteen: Deliver me from nowhere“
Još jedan u nizu biografskih fil- mova o muzičarima, od kog se očekuje da privuče publi- ku širom sveta, ovog puta o rok legendi Brusu Springstinu. Filmovi poput „Boemske rap- sodije“ i „Elvisa“ studijima su dali zeleno svetlo da nastave sa produciranjem žanra. Redi- telj je Skot Kuper, a Brusa tu- mači Džeremi Alen Vajt (seri- je „Medved“ i „Besramnici“). U filmu se pojavljuju i Džere- mi Strong, Pol Voter Hauzer te Gabi Hofman. SPRINGSTEEN: DELIVER ME FROM NOWHERE Another in the series of mu- sical biopics expected to ap- peal to audiences worldwide, this time about rock legend Bruce Springsteen. The suc- cess of movies like Bohemian Rhapsody and Elvis gave stu- dios the green light to contin- ue producing films in this gen- re. Directed by Scott Cooper, Springsteen is portrayed by Jeremy Allen White (known for series The Bear and Shame- less). The film also stars Jere- my Strong, Paul Walter Haus- er and Gaby Hoffmann. It is set for release on 24 th Oc- tober.
„Mortal kombat 2“ Neposredno pre izlaska ributovanog filma „Mortal kombat“ (2022), „Vorner bros“ je objavio vest da već rade na nastavku. Ka- ko je prvi film u novoj/staroj franšizi naišao na pozitivnu reakciju publike i kritike, oče- kivanja su se povećala. Osim likova iz pr- vog filma, fokus će biti na Džoniju Kejdžu kog tumači Karl Urban, a film će svetskoj i domaćoj publici biti dostupan 24. oktobra. MORTAL KOMBAT II Immediately ahead of the release of the re- booted Mortal Kombat (2022), Warner Bros. announced that work was already under- way on a sequel. Expectations were raised even higher thanks to the positive respons- es of audiences and critics to the inaugural film in this new-old franchise. Apart from the characters featured in the first film, the focus for the sequel will shift to Johnny Cage, por- trayed by Karl Urban, and the film will be re- leased in cinemas globally on 24 th October.
