Bridget Johnson ABOUT: I continue to explore the non- objective and challenge myself to keep pushing, working, and to be inspired in the midst of our “non-movement” time. From a stationary environment, I have sought to find the harmony of geometry through the balance of light and seasons and to express and respond to ”this” moment of movement and non-objectivity. THIS YEAR: The most recent events in our environment have taught me patience and perseverance. “AE1,” Mixed Media Collage, 2019, 8 x 10 in, $75. These works are a reflection of Richard Diebenkorn’s Ocean Park Series and my curiosity, which continues to explore abstract expressionism. The pieces themselves are hand-pulled paper collages finished with found items and materials. They float in a 2” x 4” opening of an 8” x 10” mat, and are framed in a simple, white box frame.
