her best friend working in a free clinic during her first missionary trip to Mexico more than 20 years ago. Melissa has past experience with home health care and skilled nursing clientele. She has stated that she could not be happier to be working for Valley Rehab Center due to its reputation of integrity, quality and highest level of patient care with Christian values. Melissa is currently pursuing certification in Pelvic Floor Health to treat incontinency and pelvic pain in women and men. She hopes to be able to offer this specialty at Valley Rehab within the upcoming year. Her current skill strengths are with joint replacements, manual therapy, fall risks, and balance. Melissa’s goal is to facilitate healing, to restore efficient movement, and to restore comfort as quickly as possible. Melissa is blessed to be married to her husband, Scott, and they have three daughters, Chelsea, Emma, and Liza. She enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering at her local church, and spoiling her dog, Zoe. Melissa believes that Philippians 4:13 is the adage of her life: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Melissa Fletcher is our newest full-time physical therapist at Valley Rehab Center. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Wheeling Jesuit University in 2014. Prior to fulfilling her dream of becoming a physical therapist, Melissa worked as a nuclear medicine technologist for 20 years. She received her B.S. from Wheeling Jesuit College in 1987.
