Sean Meredith - Entergy Prior to assuming his role as the Vice President responsible for System Resilience in October of 2021, Sean was the Vice President of Power Plant Operations for the Louisiana Power Generation fleet. In this role he was responsible for the operations, maintenance, and strategic planning of the Louisiana fleet, which consists of over 8000 MW of generation. He assumed the role as the director of operations for the Transmission Control Center North in June 2018. In this role, he was responsible for the transmission operations in Entergy’s four-state service territory. He served in multiple leadership positions at Entergy in Transmission and Nuclear prior to his role in the Transmission Control Center. Prior to joining Entergy, Sean served in the United States Navy as a submarine officer aboard three fast attack submarines over a ten- year span. While aboard his last submarine, the USS Hartford, he served as the Engineer Officer responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of the nuclear reactor plant and all support systems. Sean earned a bachelor's degree in systems engineering from the United States Naval Academy and completed the naval nuclear propulsion program. His wife Maureen and two sons, Bryson (17) and Brady (15), reside with Sean in The Woodlands, TX.
