Kids First Basketball Fundamentals • AGES 5-12 Learn the basics of basketball with hands-on drills, demonstrations, scrimmages and skills contests leading to the championship game on the last day. Kids First Sports Safety, Inc. staff focuses on shooting, ball- handling, offensive and defensive skills. Quickness, body balance, first step directional movements, safety and sportsmanship are emphasized. Parents are asked to remain outside of the gym. Kids First Dodgeball • AGES 7-13 Have a blast running, throwing, dodging and ducking your way to victory. The sport of dodgeball provides great team competition and individual challenge matches. Parents are invited to watch the championship match on the last day. Soft, super-safe balls are used. Taught by Kids First Sports Safety, Inc. staff. Parents are asked to remain outside of the gym. Football has twenty-two positions (excluding special teams players) that take time to learn and understand their purpose. The more a player learns, the more confident they become. Taught by Kids First Sports Safety, Inc. staff. In case of rainout, a makeup is scheduled the week following the end of the session. Parents are asked to remain outside of the gym.
