Choosing an approved venue in Hertfordshire As an alternative to the register offices many couples choose to hold their ceremonies in approved venues throughout the county.
Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays with ceremonies starting at 9.00am through to 4.30pm. It is also possible to have a later ceremony at an approved venue. Please check with our administration team 0300 123 4045 if you require an evening ceremony.
When it comes to choosing your perfect venue, you can be sure to find exactly what you’re looking for with a huge choice of hotels, country clubs, golf clubs, historical buildings and even a castle. You may wish to make your choice based on location, style of venue, or budget. Please refer to pages 16 and 17 of this brochure where all the venues are listed and shown on the county map. Before choosing your preferred venue, you will need to check that they have availability on your chosen date.
