Riverside House 2 Hockerill Street Bishop’s Stortford CM23 2DL bstortford.registrars@hertfordshire.gov.uk Riverside House is a charming mock-Tudor building situated in the old market town of Bishop’s Stortford just next to the River Stort. The impressive Tudor Room (pictured above) is upstairs and provides the perfect setting for your ceremony.

The Georgian Room is smaller and more intimate and is downstairs with good disabled access.

The maximum number of guests permitted for the Tudor room is 50 and for the Georgian room 12 guests. The riverside and Castle Gardens opposite the building are ideal locations for photographs after the ceremony.

The ceremony rooms have a music system which has Bluetooth and a CD player.

You are welcome to have your photographer or videographer present during the ceremony.

There is parking for two wedding cars. Parking for your guests is available in public car parks only a short walk away. For information on how to book either of the ceremony rooms in Bishop’s Stortford, please see page 20.
