We aim to develop your understanding of the animal management industry and will provide you with opportunities to observe, practise and develop the skills of an animal management practitioner. You will gain a more in-depth understanding of animals and their environment and cover topics such as Anatomy and Physiology, Animal Behaviour, Health and Welfare, Animal Husbandry, Aquatic Ecology, Wildlife Conservation and Biological Principles. You will also complete a research project.

You could progress onto careers such as: • Animal Technician • Animal Welfare Office • Kennels/Cattery Manager • Zoo Keeper
