Why are we showcasing our Freight Forwarding Essentials and Customs BTEC courses? The simple reason is that these two are the most commonly combined by Members. You can find out more about the trainers, including our newest addition to the team, here: www.bifa.org/training/meet-the-trainers Carl Hobbis, who has responsibility for training at BIFA, said: “We are really proud of our training, our team and the fact that our courses are really pragmatic. “Our trainers are brilliant at relating to the day-to-day challenges you encounter in Customs and logistics. “They have been there, seen it, done it and got the proverbial t-shirt. “We have invested heavily in the team and having dedicated tutors employed by BIFA to deliver courses for Members and delegates gives us a distinct advantage. “We do not do any webinars; these are live courses delivered by real people. “This is so valuable for the learner. We put them at the heart of the learning. “Our Live online courses only have eight delegates; we know that learners appreciate these smaller groups, it gives them space to get involved and ask questions and get a better learning experience.” Hobbis concluded: “We are very proud of our content and how we deliver it. “We have a great team, including all the support staff and the positive feedback we receive, week-in, week-out, backs this up.”
Some recent learner comments:
“Everything in this course I have to do in the workplace, so learning all this knowledge I now feel more confident. Especially with costings, Incoterms as well as insurance. It will certainly help me.” “The trainer was good, you were always engaged, the course was interactive, you were never made to feel on the spot.” “It was a very logical course where each subject flowed through and how you built up the content and see how previous topics play a part further ahead operationally.” BTEC INTERMEDIATE AWARD IN CUSTOMS EXPORT & IMPORT PROCEDURES Course overview Ideal for those that would prefer a formal qualification, this five-day course covers a wide

Some recent comments from delegates:
“The trainer was excellent and helpful throughout. Claire even went above and beyond by helping me with questions related to my business.” “Graeme was amazing, if we did not understand something, he would take his time and go through it again. He was very approachable.” “The course provided an abundance of information; Liz was lovely, and everyone’s questions and queries were always answered in a clear way.”
