Dear Aunt Betty: A month ago I found a beautiful ring on the street. I took it home and put it in my jew el box, and didn’t tell anybody about it. Now my conscience bothers me. What should I do? Elsie Name of town withheld Dear Elsie: Go to the library and look at all the newspaper Lost columns since the date you found the ring. Doubtless, if it is valuable, the owners have advertised for it. If not, ask your mother if you can run a Found ad in the paper. Tell people about the ring without describ ing it fully and maybe the word will get around and the owner will claim it. You are very slow about this but I believe if you make a real try, you can find the owner. When you have made every possible effort and still do not succeed, I suppose you may keep it. Dear Aunt Betty: / am a Christian girl fifteen years old. A cousin of mine is coming to visit me. She is a Jehovahs Witness and very outspoken. 1 dread her com ing for she w ill want to argue all the time about this cult she belongs to. She even goes out on the street with their literature. What would you advise me to help make this visit pleasant? Elizabeth Name of town withheld Dear Elizabeth: Do not be afraid of her. Have a few Scriptures all marked to show her in the Bible, particularly those having to do with salvation, such as John 3:16, John 5:24, Acts 16:31, Revela tion 3:20, and when she brings up the subject just tell her sweetly that you do not want to argue about religion, but you would like to tell her what Jesus means to you. I am sending you a booklet, “Another Gospel” by W. J. Schnell and Dr. Talbot’s booklet, “What’s Wrong with Jehovah’s Wit nesses?” and if she will take them home with her to read, well and good. If not, keep them and read them so you will know just what this sect teaches. Above all things, pray for this cousin, that she may find Jesus as her Saviour. RULES FOR SU B M IT T IN G QUESTIONS: Yau must be 13-19; you must give name, address and ages, but only first name and city will be used. Letters will be regarded as confidential. Send to this column in care of The King's Business.
