36 When we began looking at options for Bet On Red this year, this Lakina heifer was the obvious choice, although we weren’t real interested in selling her. She is following in her mother’s footsteps; an absolute powerhouse of a heifer, stemming from one of the most famous cows in the Feddes program, Lakina 310. Lakina cattle consistently produce performance while maintaining exceptional maternal traits. We partnered with C-T to purchase her dam in 2024 at Bet On Red; a female out of the sought after TAC Drifter bull. The Drifter line is making impressive cows. RBH Lakina 2611 is the result of a flush, and sired by Pie Cadillac. This is the only calf we got from that flush, making it tough to let her go. She won’t have a wean ratio because she is an ET, but she didn’t just top her contemporary group, she blew them out of the water. She is long, deep, wide, and has the dark cherry red color to go with it. We are excited to see where this heifer goes. Lot
