Embry-Riddle’s professional development and continuing education courses, customized certificates and degree programs, delivered on site or online, help industry leaders recruit and retain talent, too. For example, , Embry-Riddle’s Worldwide Campus has teamed up with Microsoft to provide a full-time, 18-week software and systems-training program to military bases. To date, 213 students have successfully completed the Microsoft Software & Systems Academy, which is helping Microsoft and its IT partners promote diversity while hiring transitioning military service members. Another 140 students are now enrolled in the program. Some 200 companies – including Amazon – have partnered with Microsoft to hire MSSA graduates.
