Our comments/sugges*ons to the Project Delivery Team:
◊ Create a Team Charter. Include *melines, goals, expecta*ons and mantra. Get buy-in from all partners to be a team. ◊ Work to break down barriers between trades, owner and Construc*on Manager.
◊ Create a target budget and aim for it. Work to minimize changes.
◊ Build a schedule that matches the slowest scope for work for the given area— this keeps all trades working in a constant forward progress. ◊ Work to maximize on delivery *me so the project is not impacted by large amounts of ma- terial, making it hard to work and an unsafe project.
◊ Embrace lean management principles.
◊ Early BIM input helps create the team aspect and flushes out issues early.
