HANNAH GILLESPIE, RECEPTIONIST STAFF SPOTLIGHT:
WHAT IS YOUR ROLE AT DUPONT AND BLUMENSTIEL? I started working here in February of 2024 as a receptionist. My typical workday includes answering incoming phone calls and directing them to the right person, responding to emails, preparing deeds, helping our probate paralegal, Emily, with mailings, and acting as a witness for estate planning signings. My favorite part of my job is answering the phones because it is the first step in creating a good experience for our clients. In the future, I hope to become an attorney. I’ve taken the LSAT and am currently preparing for law school!
WHAT IS SOMETHING MOST PEOPLE DON’T KNOW ABOUT YOU? Most people don’t know that I’m obsessed with reality TV and game shows. My favorites are Big Brother, The Amazing Race, and Survivor. I was even in a Survivor club at Ohio State! WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO SOMEONE HESITANT ABOUT CREATING AN ESTATE PLAN? I would say to definitely do it. It saves your family and friends a lot of time and money in the long run. It can also give them a sense of security.
