Coleman Charlo 0256 was one of our choices to flush some of our donor cows. We picked him to give some added muscle with calving ease. He has sired many big name herd sires around the country, most notably in the SAV and Coleman programs, but his females are his crowning achievement. His daughters are widely described as easy-fleshing, deep-bodied, structurally-sound females with excellent udders, strong maternal instincts, and the longevity to stay productive. • 5243’s dam is our Elba 5470 donor cow. She is moderate framed but has had a proven track record of making heifer bulls with high performance behind them. Her sire comes from our 15-year-old Polly 1261 donor cow.
• 5251’s donor dam has an impressive resume. She has produced our Georgina 5500 donor cow, KBX Stellar X 5501 herd sire, and has several daughters in production on the ranch. She main- tains her condition well, sheds early, and the ideal size to thrive in any environments.
