MESSAGE FROM OUR COO
Dear Team,
It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that I share the tragic and unexpected news of the passing of our dear colleague and friend, Thato Mahlatsi. Thato was a valued member of our team and brought kindness, dedication, and warmth to everything she did. Her positive spirit, generous heart, and contributions to our workplace will be remembered with immense gratitude and affection. This loss is deeply felt, and our thoughts are with her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing Thato. We recognize that this news may be difficult to process. Grief affects us all differently, and there is no right or wrong way to feel during a time like this. Please know that support is available. If you are struggling or simply need someone to talk to, our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offers confidential counseling and resources. You can access this support by contacting Human Resources. We will share more information in the coming days about any opportunities to honor Thato and celebrate her life. In the meantime, we encourage everyone to lean on one another and extend kindness and compassion as we navigate this together. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me or HR if you need support or have questions. We appreicate all of the outreach asking how to honor Thato, celebrate her life, and support her family. At this time, please send all support inquiries to Brad Daley in the Executive Office at bdaley@frenchmanscreek.com or by phone at 561.273.2710. With heartfelt sympathy,
Miles Tucker COO & Executive Director

LEADING WITH HOSPITALITY In alignment with our vision to provide industry-leading hospitality, the Food & Beverage department recently hosted a team-building go-karting activity that brought together both front-of-house and back-of- house team members. This inclusive event fostered camaraderie, mutual respect, and stronger collaboration across roles that are critical to delivering a seamless dining experience. By uniting staff who may not always interact during their daily duties, the team strengthened communication and built trust—two essential ingredients in delivering outstanding service. Investing in relationships behind the scenes directly impacts the guest experience, ensuring every member interaction is grounded in teamwork, empathy, and a shared commitment to excellence. This initiative is a great example of how building a strong internal culture supports our goal of leading with hospitality in every interaction.
