We would like to start off by saying thank you for looking through our offering and for the interest in our program. 2025 ended up being a wild year with most having some moisture and the highest calf prices we have ever seen as an industry. As we have gotten through the first couple of months in 2026 nothing has changed on the calf and cull markets, they just continue to get higher! With bred cow prices at all time highs and calf prices that have been setting records every day it seems like we should have one of the best years the industry has ever seen. To say the least it is a great time to be in the cow business! We will be holding our 13th Annual Customer-Oriented Bull Sale on April, 4th at 1:00 p.m. at our Huntley sale barn location. Bulls will be hauled in from the ranch on March 30th and can be viewed at any time before the sale. If you would like to look at the offering before that, they can be viewed at the ranch at any time. This years offering will consist of 100 stout yearling bulls. As you look through the offering , we feel you will find a deep set of bulls to choose from. We strive to raise highly functional cattle that will go out and breed, come home in the fall problem free, keep you profitable with top-quality feeder calves, and leave great females to breed. We believe in breeding type and kind to build consistency in our cow herd, with good feet and udders, docility that the whole family can be around and have that built in Angus mothering ability to take care of her calf from birth day to weaning day! We strongly believe in culling cattle that don’t meet the criteria. Again as in past years , we will have DVAuction on hand to carry the sale for online bidding. Coffee and donuts will be available in the morning and again as in past years lunch will be catered by North 15 catering starting at 11:30 a.m. with the sale starting at 1:00 p.m. We will have the bulls sorted up and in their pens first thing that morning for your viewing.
