FIRST BREEDING SEASON GUARANTEE

All bulls selling for $3,500 or more will be covered 50% by Botts Angus Ranch, if they are injured during their first breeding season. Breeding season is defined as the 90-day period following the first turnout of the bulls.

Fifty percent of the value of the injured bull, minus one-half salvage value, will be given as credit in a future sale or towards a replacement bull if one is available. Salvage value, if any, will be split equally between Botts Angus Ranch and the buyer. All injured bulls must be diagnosed by a veterinarian. Please notify us as soon as possible should an injury occur and prior to the injured bull being sold for salvage. All claims must be made by September 1, 2025.

• Example 1: A $5,000 bull is injured and won’t heal. A credit of $2,500 minus one-half of the salvage value will be given to the buyer.

• Example 2: A $3,500 bull is injured and won’t heal. A credit of $1,750 minus one-half of the salvage value will be given to the buyer.

• Example 3: A $2,750 bull is injured and won’t heal. No credit is given and buyer keeps all the salvage value.

While we are in the business of raising registered Angus cattle, we started in the commercial end of the business and still run several hundred commercial cows.
