to exhort and challenge people. God has used this all the more as I have committed the talent to Him. GIFTS What are your gifts? When you discern what they are, develop them to their fullest. Some people have unusual gifts with children. They love and understand them. Their influence can be used tre mendously. What a precious gift! Others can do the same with young people, and so on. Find the gifts God has given to you. Each believer has been placed into the body of Christ as God wills and it pleases Him. Everyone is absolutely essential. We need each other's help and encourage ment. What a thrill to walk in the Spirit, letting God produce through you to the glory of Christ all that He wants to do. With a world so full of sadness and sorrow, we need Christians who live above their cir cumstances. Do not let yesterday use up too much of today. Let us use our lives and our abilities for God's glory today! A Christian is one who has let the Saviour do what He came to do: convert him. Have you ever received the Lord Jesus Christ as your Saviour? God wants to give us His righteousness, depositing to our account all that Christ did. We get the credit for it and we will go to heaven as though we did it our selves. Invite the Lord Jesus Christ to be your own personal Saviour. Then, let the Holy Spirit control you. In this way, you will have a life of joy, peace and blessing to the glory of God!

If there come from your life the fruit of unrighteousness (Galatians 5:19 ff) then you need to make a change in your standing. Read that list Paul gives us. Not much is left out. As born-again believers we can yield to that old nature, or give the supremacy to the Holy Spirit. Stop and look at your life; see what shows up! Read over this imposing list of the works of the flesh. If these things crop out in you, wheth er in deed or action, it may be that you have never been saved. You may still be a natural man. Notice beginning at verse 22 where the fruit of the Spirit is listed. Does your life produce love, joy, peace, longsuffering, patience, kindness, generosity, meekness and self-control? If you see the works of the flesh in your life confess the sin and yield to the Holy Spirit so that He can take control. In Corin thians 4:10, Paul writes, “ As every one has received a gift, so let him use it to the glory of God." Did you know that you are gifted if you are a Christian? What a tragedy that multitudes of Christians have no idea what their gifts are. Cod wants us to discern them and then develop them more fully. You can discern your gifts by praying about it and searching the Scriptures (Ro mans 12:1, 2; II Corinthians 12:14). There is really no end to the po tential. I remember preaching in a certain church when a man came up after the service and compli mented me, “ Brother Wemp, you have the gift of exhortation!" That startled me. I had never thought about it before. This encouraged me to discern more the will of God
