June 24 Sign up at the front desk! Weight Room 101 includes weight room orientation, specific instruction on upper and lower body exercises, and cardiovascular training tips. Instruction and guidance on how to properly train your entire body safely and effectively will help participants gain muscular strength and cardiovascular endurance. For safety purposes, this class is limited to 10 participants. Please register in advance at the front desk. Closed-toe footwear is required.

Cost is only $82 for a one-hour session for members / $103 for a one-hour session for non-members. Free Blood Pressure Check- Sanibel Fire District The Sanibel Fire District has teamed up with the Sanibel Recreation Center to offer a complimentary blood pressure screening on June 25th between 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. in the Sanibel Recreation Center lobby.
MARTIAL ARTS
Are you interested in learning Martial Arts? Martial Arts helps practice balance, build structure, and boost confidence. Register today for group lessons with Sensei Gary Thomas, available to all ages. Lessons are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2:30 p.m. as well as Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. Lessons are paid monthly at a rate of $100 member and $125 non-member. 13+ Martial Arts on Tuesday and Thursdays at 4:00 p.m. as well as Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. Family Rate! Families with more than 3 people participating in martial arts will be charged $250 for the whole family. Individuals who would like to register for the program but are only available to attend one day per week will be subject to a reduced fee of $50.
