• Monitor compliance with asbestos regulations; report any contraventions; deputise for the Senior Estates Infrastructure Manager in respect of asbestos management as required. • Manage maintenance works and projects ensuring compliance with specifications, cost estimates and timescales; • Carry out fault finding and contribute to establishing the most effective, customer based resolution to technical problems; • Initiate remedial work arising from work inspections or where specified standards have not been met directly or escalate more serious non-compliance as necessary; • Report any health and safety concerns to relevant service managers; • Ensure the accurate and timely compilation and maintenance of essential records and data. • Use Cafm, drawings and other information systems as required to to support the effective allocation, control and monitoring of maintenance services; • Prepare regular management/performance reports as required; • Manage delegated budgets for services and projects; • Contribute to Estates collective approach to managing the effective procurement and performance of service providers, including service standards, costs, health & safety. • Maintain an appropriate understanding and practical application of relevant Health & Safety Regulations. • Support and contribute to Estates’ response to and management of emergency situations. • Deputise for the Senior Estates Infrastructure Manager on building fabric services issues as required, attending regular and ad-hoc meetings and providing technical advice.
