Creating The Brand Your Work Deserves
Social impact organizations are leading the world in these uncertain times. With so many communities heavily relying on these organizations’ aid, it is abundantly clear how significant their role is in our society. Unfortunately, very few of these organizations do an excellent job of visually expressing their significance. We call this phenomenon a Greywhale; it is the gap between the important work an organization does and how that work and organization are branded. The visual identity ( brand ) may not be the first thing on an executive director’s mind but, appearance matters. No matter how many times we say don’t judge a book by its cover, that cover does, in fact, often communicate the information necessary to engage and excite current and future stakeholders. Our express purpose is to help you better express your impact on the people and communities you serve, with a brand identity that mirrors your purpose and reflects the empathy in the work you do. Branding matters. The aim is to create an informed and interested audience. When presented with opportunities to engage, like donating or volunteering, your audience is already aware of your organization, purpose, how it matters, and works.
